ABOUT THE COMPANY


Kuressaare Airport that is located on the island of Saaremaa is opened for domestic and international flights during daytime in all weekdays. If possible and upon prior notice, service is provided also outside the official working time.

Kuressaare Airport manages two crossing runways:
- approach direction 17/35 – 2000 m long and 30 m wide
- approach direction 05/23 – 799 m long and 30 m wide
The carrying capacity of the runways is up to 100 tons.


Kuressaare Airport includes the Ruhnu airfield that is located 75 km from Kuressaare on the island of Ruhnu in the Livonian Bay. The airfield covers 31.6 hectares. Ruhnu airfield has a grass runway in the approach direction 13/31. The runway is 600 metres long and 60 metres wide. Of this, 12,000 square metres (600 x 20 m) is covered with plastic.
